Each member of the department shall, while on duty, wear a suitable badge and uniform, except that the chief may authorize the performance of specific duties while not in uniform. When a member terminates membership in the department, such member shall immediately deliver to the City his/her badge, and all other property of the City in his/her possession. (1999 Code)
