(a) It shall be unlawful for any person of the age 17 years or younger to be upon the streets of the Village between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. weekdays, and 12:00 midnight until 6:00 a.m. weekends. It shall be unlawful for any person who is the parent, custodian, natural guardian or legal guardian of any person of the age 17 years or younger to permit said person to be upon the streets between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. weekdays, and 12:00 midnight until 6:00 a.m. weekends.
(b) The above section shall not apply to persons of the age of 17 years or younger who are returning directly to their residence from a sporting event or social event or if said persons of the age of 17 years or younger is accompanied upon the street by his parents, custodian, legal guardian or natural guardian.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
