Council hereby approves the increase in the water rates and sewer rates, and the first stage of increase shall occur in January 2020 and the second stage of the increase will occur in July 2020.
(a) Increases Effective January 2020. The base water rate shall increase $1.00 per the first 2,000 gallons of usage, with an additional $1.00 increase for each 1,000 gallons of usage. The base sewer rate shall increase $1.00 per the first 2,000 gallons usage, with an additional $1.00 increase for each 1,000 gallons of usage.
(b) Increases Effective July 2020. The base water rate shall increase $1.00 per the first 2,000 gallons of usage, with an additional $0.50 increase for each 1,000 gallons of usage. The base sewer rate shall increase $1.00 per the first 2,000 gallons usage, with an additional $1.25 increase for each 1,000 gallons of usage.

(c) Increase Effective January 1, 2022. The base water rate shall increase by 2% ($0.47) over the existing $23.52 per the first 2000 gallons of usage, with an additional 2% increase for each 1000 gallons of usage.
