The Board of Zoning Appeals shall hold a public hearing within thirty (30) days after the receipt of an application for an appeal or variance from the Zoning Inspector or from an applicant. Whenever the Board of Zoning Appeals holds a public hearing, the session shall be recorded electronically and/or written minutes may be taken by the Clerk of the Board of Zoning Appeals and/or by Court reporter. All witnesses shall be sworn in and opportunities shall be granted for direct examination, cross examination and rebuttal of witnesses. Materials presented in evidence shall be duly recorded, items numbered as Exhibits shall have “Exhibit ______” indelibly recorded on each item.
