Any person who has applied for a license in accordance with this chapter and to whom the Police Chief or his or her designee has, after an investigation, denied a license may, within thirty days, submit to the Mayor a written appeal which succinctly states the grounds for such appeal. The Mayor or his or her designee shall conduct a hearing within fifteen days of receipt of the appeal. The Mayor or his or her designee shall submit a final written decision within five business days of the hearing. (Ord. 05-01-14. Passed 5-12-14.)
