(A) Pursuant to state law, the payment of funeral benefits to the heirs or estate of any active or retired member of the city police force who has suffered death from any cause shall be exactly $1,500.
(B) Pursuant to state law, the payment to each of any deceased police officer’s children under the age of 18 years shall be exactly 15% of the monthly pay of a first-class patrol officer per month to each child.
