§ 53.001 ELECTRIC UTILITY.
   The operation, management and control of City Power and Light (formerly the municipal electric lighting and power plant) shall be by and under the power and authority of the Common Council of the city according to and under the powers and authority established by I.C. 8-1-2-1 et seq., as amended and supplemented.
