(A) There is established an Enforcement Aid Fund which is established as a non-reverting fund for the use and benefit of the Police Department.
(B) Sources of revenue for the Enforcement Aid Fund shall be limited to:
(1) Moneys received as reimbursement for expenditures from the fund;
(2) Money received as a result of seizures under state or federal forfeiture programs; and
(3) Specific appropriations by the city.
(C) The purpose for which funds may be expended are limited to:
(1) Operations or special investigations; and
(2) Purchase of equipment and material in aid of law enforcement.
(D) The City Controller’s office shall adopt accounting and disbursement procedures in accordance with regulations and guidelines of the State Board of Accounts to control and account for the receipt and disbursement of moneys from this fund.
