151.02 PURCHASES.

The Recreation Board shall, within its budget limitations, be authorized to purchase equipment and provide maintenance and supervision for any playground, ball diamond, tennis court, swimming pool or any other area of recreation, whether it be in or out of the Municipality. All such purchases shall be made through the Director of Finance as purchasing agent on the basis of requisitions submitted and approved by the Recreation Board. All such approvals for expenditure of funds shall be reflected in the minutes of the meetings of the Recreation Board.
