(a) A Department of Public Service and Properties is hereby established, having all of the duties and responsibilities as set forth in Article VI, Section 5
, of the Charter, and any ordinances pertaining thereto. The Department of Public Service and Properties shall be composed of the Director of Public Service and the following personnel:
(1) | Equipment Operator/Laborer | 7 |
(2) | Custodial Worker | 1 |
(3) | Inspector - Public Works (part-time) | 1 |
(4) | Summer labor (part-time) | 12 |
(5) | Part-time mechanic | 1 |
(b) Employees in the service, with the exception of those covered by a labor agreement, shall receive such compensation as Council shall from time to time determine.
(c) The part-time mechanic shall work no less than thirty hours and no more than thirty-nine hours per week and shall receive such compensation as Council shall from time to time determine.
