137.04 ASSISTANT DIRECTOR; APPOINTMENT AND DUTIES.

(a) The position of Assistant Director of Finance is hereby created. The position shall be filled by appointment by the Mayor, with the approval of a majority of the members of Council. The Assistant Director shall work a forty-hour week.

(b) The duties of the Assistant Director shall be those prescribed by the Director of Finance, and the compensation shall be fixed by Council and set forth in the salary or ordinances of the City.

(c) The Assistant Director and the Director of Finance are hereby authorized to sign warrants and vouchers of the City.
