(a) No license shall be issued to an operator or person selling from an ice cream truck unless a certificate is furnished to the City showing that the vendor is carrying the following minimum amounts of insurance: general commercial liability insurance in an amount of not less than one million dollars ($1,000,000) for injuries, including those resulting in death, resulting from any one occurrence and on account of any one accident, and property damage insurance in an amount of not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for damages on account of any one accident or occurrence.
(b) Insurance certificates shall contain an agreement signed by the insurance company that prior to modification, cancellation or termination of the subject policy, advance written notice of at least thirty (30) days shall be sent to the City's Division of Police by said insurance company.
