(a) No fire detection or signaling system shall be connected to the alarm panel at City Hall. All fire detection and signaling systems shall be monitored by a remote supervising station capable of receiving alarm signals and immediately notifying the Division of Fire. The remote supervising station shall be capable of monitoring alarm, supervisory, and trouble signals. All remote supervising stations shall comply with Section 1513.05
of this Code and the most current edition of the National Fire Protection Association, pamphlet #72.
(b) Any person, firm or corporation connected to the alarm panel at City Hall shall have until December 31, 1998 to disconnect from the panel and provide remote supervision in accordance with subsection (a) hereof.
(c) Until December 31, 1998, if a condition exists with any person, firm or corporation connected to the alarm panel at City Hall, that may create a threat to the property or occupants, the person, firm or corporation may be ordered to immediately disconnect from the City alarm panel and provide remote supervision in accordance with subsection (a) hereof. This decision shall be at the sole discretion of the Fire Chief.
