(a) All newly installed fire protection equipment including, but not limited to sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, chemical agent extinguishing systems, and fire detection systems, is subject to a new installation acceptance test.
(b) All existing fire protection equipment that is modified in any manner shall be subject to a modified system acceptance test.
(c) The acceptance test shall include the operation of all system parts that will likely function during a fire situation. The contractors performing such test shall discuss, with the Bureau, the specific requirements of the acceptance at least seventy-two hours in advance of the test.
(d) Acceptance tests shall be scheduled at least seventy-two hours in advance with the Bureau.
