An assembly or educational occupancy shall be posted with an approved legible sign in contrasting colors conspicuously located near the main point of egress from the room or space stating the number of occupants permitted within such space. The number on the sign shall be calculated in accordance with the provisions of the Ohio Basic Building Code. The responsible person shall be responsible for posting and maintaining such signs. Whosoever violates this section shall be fined two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00).
