With the prior approval of the Building Inspector, as an alternate to inspection by the City Engineer, the applicant for a building permit may arrange to have the inspections required by Section 1321.04 done by the applicant’s engineer or surveyor at the applicant’s expense. Under this alternate procedure, the applicant’s engineer or surveyor shall inspect the construction at the times stipulated in Section 1321.04(a) and (b), and certify with their seal and signature, on a copy of the approved grading plan, that the grades inspected are in conformance with the approved plan.
