(a) No yard, court or other open space provided about any building for the purpose of complying with the provisions of these regulations shall be used as a yard, court or other open space for any other building existing or intended to exist at the same time.
(b) Structural projections which extend outside the enclosing walls and which are an integral and functional part of the building design such as cornices, roof overhangs, bay windows and awnings may project into required yards a distance of two feet six inches.
(c) The depth of the front yard on a single-family residential corner lot shall be not less than the required setback, and the width of the side yard on the side street shall be not less than one-half of the depth of the front yard required for the adjoining lot which fronts on the side street unless the Zone Map shows otherwise, in which case the Zone Map distance shall control.
(d) All yards which are not used for vehicular parking or other lawful accessory use shall be landscaped in accordance with Chapter 1177.
(e) In order to promote safe movement of vehicles at and near street intersections and in order to promote more adequate protection of the safety of children, pedestrians, property and other vehicles and occupants, no permanent or temporary fence, wall, shrubbery, sign, vehicle or other obstruction to vision above a height of three feet from the established street grades shall be permitted within the triangular area formed at the intersection of any street right-of-way lines by a straight line drawn between the right-of-way lines at a distance, along each right-of-way line, of forty feet from this point of intersection.
