959.06 AUXILIARY POLICE; FEES.
   (a)   The Administrative Authority may, when determined necessary by the Administrative Authority, require as a condition of issuing a permit for the use of the Park facilities that one or more auxiliary police officers of the City be hired by the applicant to be present during the hours specified by the Administrative Authority, and such auxiliary police officers shall be paid at the rates set forth herein. Notwithstanding the foregoing, an auxiliary police officer of the City shall be hired by the applicant to be present at all times during all engagements which commence after 3:00 p.m. Any use of the parks at which over 100 persons attend shall require the applicant to hire two auxiliary police officers to be present at all times, which auxiliary police officers shall be paid at the rates set forth herein. The Administrative Authority may waive this requirement only in writing and in its sole discretion upon special written request by an applicant.
   (b)   In the event auxiliary police are required as set forth in this section and appear at the time of the schedule event, they shall receive a minimum of three hours at the applicable rate in any case where the event, meeting or engagement is cancelled or the duration of which is less than three hours. Any amounts required to be paid to auxiliary police in accordance with the rates set forth herein shall be paid in advance and shall be paid directly to the auxiliary police officers in attendance.
   (c)   The rate of compensation for the use of auxiliary police officers is hereby established at fifteen dollars ($15.00) per hour for each officer.
