907.03 COMPLIANCE REQUIRED.
   Every dwelling in the City shall have posted in a conspicuous manner the identifying house number thereof which has been assigned to such dwelling by the Building Commissioner. The numerals for the house number shall be not less than three and one-half inches in height. The house number shall be mounted on the front elevation of the dwelling in the vicinity of the primary entrance door so that it is clearly visible from the public right-of- way on which such dwelling is located. The house number may not be located on any exterior doors. A house number may be painted on the right-of-way curbing, and/or may be displayed on a post light or any other exterior structure, but these shall not be considered a substitute for the number that shall be mounted on the front elevation of the dwelling.
