All sidewalks shall have a minimum width of not less than five feet. Where the existing width of walks is greater than five feet, all newly constructed walks must be of the same width as the existing walk. Where a width of greater than five feet for walks has been established, even though there are no walks in, all new construction must be to the greater width.
