791.02 AUTHORITY TO INSTALL ALARMS.

(a) Any resident or lawful business located within the City may be equipped with an emergency alarm system for the purpose of detecting and signaling the presence of a fire or unauthorized intrusion only upon compliance with the provisions of this chapter.

(b) Pre-existing alarms or installations are subject to the requirements of this chapter including those relating to the issuance of permits.
