A receipt shall be given to every pledger at the time the property is received, which receipt shall contain the name and address of the pledger, a description of the property received, the amount of money loaned, the rate of interest, the date and hour when the property was received and the date when the loan is due. A true copy of such receipt shall be kept by the licensee pawnbroker. When payments are made by the pledger, receipt for the payments shall be given by him, which receipt shall show the amount previously paid and the balance due. A true copy of such receipt shall be kept by the licensed pawnbroker.
