729.01 DEFINITIONS.
   As used in this chapter:
   (a)    "Person" means any natural person, individual, firm, partnership, association, corporation, club, society, co-operative, trust, municipal corporation or political subdivision whatsoever.
   (b)    “Well” means any hole or bore to any sand, formation, strata or depth, which is drilled, bored, sunk, dug or put down for the purpose of either exploring for or ascertaining the existence of any oil, gas, liquid hydrocarbon, or any of them, or for the purpose of producing and recovering any oil, gas, liquid hydrocarbon, or any of them.
   (c)    “Oil” means any liquid hydrocarbon, regardless of gravity, capable of being produced from a drilling unit in liquid form at the well by ordinary production methods and which is not the result of the condensation of gas after it leaves the reservoir.
   (d)    "Gas" means natural gas including all of its constituent elements, which elements include, but are not limited to, gasoline, condensate, distillate, butanes, propanes and other lighter hydrocarbons.
   (e)    "Oil well" means any well which produces one barrel or more of oil to each 100,000 cubic feet of gas.
   (f)    "Gas well" means a well producing gas and which produces no oil, or less than one barrel of oil for each 100,000 cubic feet of gas.
   (g)    "Workover" means working over a well and shall be considered the act of reentering a well for any purpose after it is initially completed or abandoned, other than for well servicing.
   (h)    "Well servicing" includes installation or servicing of artificial lift equipment and the removal of tubing obstructions such as paraffin and sand.
   (i)    "Licensee" means the person to whom is issued a license for the drilling and operation of a well under this chapter, and his or its administrators, executors, heirs, successors and assigns.
   (j)    All technical or oil and gas industry words or phrases used in this chapter and not specifically defined in this chapter shall have the meaning customarily attributable thereto by prudent operators in the oil and gas industry.
