There shall be a charge for the examination and approval or disapproval of every plat reviewed by the agent. At the time of filing the preliminary plat, the subdivider shall deposit with the agent checks payable to the Treasurer of the county in the amount of such fees which shall be computed in accordance with the schedule of fees adopted by the Board of Supervisors.
