When a final subdivision plat has been approved, executed, and acknowledged in accordance with the provisions of this chapter, it shall be recorded in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the county within six months after final approval thereof. Three black-line prints and two film positives shall be submitted to the agent. Unless such plat shall be filed for recordation’s as aforesaid within six months after final approval thereof, such approval shall be withdrawn and the plat marked void and returned to the agent.
