(A) There shall be no further construction allowed for multi-family or single-family loft units in B-3 zones in the city.
(B) Loft units shall not be an allowable use in B-3 zones in the city's Development Ordinance.
(C) This section shall only pertain to future development of loft units and shall not apply to those multi-family or single-family loft units previously or presently in existence at the time of passage of this section.
(D) This section shall not apply to any preexisting construction currently used as residential purposes. Those loft apartments now in existence shall continue to be an allowable use in B-2 and B-3 zones.
(E) This section shall not apply to businesses in B-3 zones that require a single apartment for on-site security personnel. In the case of on-site security personnel, a single apartment shall be an allowable use.
