§ 150.015 ADOPTION OF GOVERNING CODES.
   (A)   The city does hereby adopt, enact, and incorporate herein as though here set forth in full, the following codes, which shall be enumerated in this section as follows.
      (1)   The 2018 Kentucky Building Code.
      (2)   The 2018 Kentucky Residential Code.
      (3)   The 2015 International Mechanical Code.
      (4)   The 2015 International Fire Code.
      (5)   The 2012 International Energy Conservation Code (for use with the Kentucky Building Code only).
      (6)   The 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (for use with the Kentucky Residential Code only).
      (7)   The 2009 ICC/ANSI A117.1 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities.
      (8)   The Kentucky State Plumbing Law, Regulations, and Code (815 KAR Chapter 20).
      (9)   The State Boiler Regulation (KRS Chapter 236; 815 KAR 15).
      (10)   The 2012 NFPA 1 Fire Prevention Code (815 KAR 10:60).
      (11)   The 2013 NFPA 13 Installation of Sprinkler Systems.
      (12)   The 2013 NFPA 13D Installation of Sprinkler Systems in One and Two-Family Dwellings and Manufactured Homes.
      (13)   The 2013 NFPA 13R Installation of Sprinkler Systems in Residential Occupancies Up To and Including Four Stories in Height.
      (14)   The 2013 NFPA 14 Installation of Standpipe and Hose Systems.
      (15)   The 2012 NFPA 54 National Fuel Gas Code.
      (16)   The 2017 NFPA 70 National Electrical Code.
      (17)   The 2013 NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.
      (18)   The 2012 NFPA 101 Life Safety Code (Health Care facilities).
      (19)   The GB-03-01 Structural Engineers Association of Kentucky - Special Guidelines, Third Edition, March, 2007.
      (20)   The 2021 International Property Maintenance Code.
   (B)   Each of the above-listed codes have been adopted by the Commonwealth of Kentucky as being the governing codes to be followed by the Commonwealth’s buildings and construction codes enforcement agencies, and these same codes shall by this section be adopted in their entirety as they are presently promulgated and as they may from time to time be amended and updated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
