§ 150.001 FIRE ZONES ESTABLISHED.
   (A)   A fire district or zone is hereby created and established within the city to include the following boundary: Commencing at the intersection of Collins and Irvine Streets, thence south with Collins Street to the intersection of Water Street, thence west with Water Street to the intersection of Lancaster Avenue, thence north with Lancaster Avenue to the intersection of Main Street, thence with Main Street to the intersection of Church Street, thence north with Church Street to Irvine Street, thence with Irvine Street east to the point of beginning.
   (B)   Within the boundary mentioned above:
      (1)   The interior walls of any new building or structure or of any existing building or structure renovated or repaired shall be constructed of non-combustible materials, unless, however, the new building or structure or the existing building or structure is equipped throughout with a sprinkler system designed in accordance with the Kentucky Building Code and approved by the City of Richmond Department of Building Inspection and Code Enforcement;
      (2)   The roof of any new building or structure or of any existing building or structure renovated or repaired shall be constructed of non-combustible materials; and
      (3)   The exterior walls of any new building or structure or of any existing building or structure renovated or repaired shall be constructed of non-combustible materials.
