(A) Any person employed or working in any capacity, including, but not limited to, employees, independent contractors, working proprietors and unpaid workers, in any establishment or place of business that permits entertainment dancing as defined in § 113.01, shall register in a book of registration kept by the Police Department, and is required to be fingerprinted and photographed by the Police Department prior to the date of his or her becoming an employee, assuming status as independent contractor, assuming status as working proprietor or assuming status as unpaid worker with such establishment or place of business. No such person shall fail to register, be fingerprinted and photographed prior to commencing such employment, status as an independent contractor, working proprietor or unpaid worker with such establishment or place of business except that persons having assumed the above prior to adoption of this chapter shall have five business days in which to comply with the above requirement.
(B) No employer, whether a person, firm or corporation, shall allow any person to remain in such employment, status or position longer than five business days unless within such five business day period, the employees, independent contractor, working proprietor or unpaid worker shall have registered and shall have been fingerprinted, photographed and issued an identification card by the Police Department.
(C) The registrants under this chapter, during their hours of employment are required to have in their immediate possession the identification cards issued by the Police Department.
