The following blasting permit requirements are established by this chapter:
(A) No person shall engage in blasting operations in the city limits without having secured a permit from the city.
(B) Applications for such permit shall be made to the Division of Codes Enforcement on application forms provided by that office.
(C) Permits apply to single blasting operations.
(D) The fee for blasting permits is $50 per permit.
(E) The applicant shall show evidence of liability insurance coverage in the amounts of $300,000/$1,000,000.
(F) Upon investigation by the Codes Enforcement Division of the proposed blasting site and determinate that all Kentucky Revised Statutes are complied with, and satisfaction that the applicant has the required site blasting license and the liability insurance the license will be issued by the Codes Enforcement Division.
