§ 100.03 NOTIFICATION TO OCCUPANTS OF OTHER DWELLING UNITS.
When the property where methamphetamine has been manufactured consists of an individual residence (the “contaminated residence”) in a building which contains other individual residences (the “other residences”), the codes enforcement official shall endeavor to determine whether the HVAC system which services the building is such that air from the contaminated residence is circulated into the other residences as well. If it appears that air is so circulated, the codes enforcement official shall attempt to give notification to the occupants of the other residences of the fact that methamphetamine has been manufactured in another residence within the building and that they should take such steps as they may feel to be appropriate to ensure their safety in determining whether or not to continue the occupation of the residence in question.
