§ 92.74 BURN/FIRE PIT FIRES.
   (A)   All domestic/residential/ceremonial type pit fires shall comply with the following conditions. If a commercial chimera or other UL listed fire ring is used, the manufacturer's safety precautions should be followed.
   (B)   The following are the conditions that must be met before burning.
      (1)   A competent adult shall be present at all times,
      (2)   A means of fire control will be readily available, water hose, sand or approved water extinguisher is preferred.
      (3)   No unapproved materials shall be burned.
      (4)   Weather conditions are permissible.
      (5)   The fire shall be extinguished at midnight.
      (6)   The fire shall be located at a safe distance from any structure, sidewalk, vehicle, or overhead power line.
      (7)   The burn/fire pit shall be of sturdy construction consisting of a metal ring or masonry. A chimera or other UL listed structures is preferred.
      (8)   There shall be no overhanging tree limbs.
      (9)   At no time should burning materials be outside and/or hang past the burn/fire pit.
