The members of the school traffic patrol hereby established shall perform their duties under the supervision of the Chief of Police of the city. The Police Committee of the Commission is authorized to adopt, subject to the approval of the Commission, such rules and regulations for the operation of said auxiliary police force of school traffic patrol as shall be within the framework of this subchapter.
