The members of said school traffic patrol shall be men or women. They shall be selected by the Police Committee of the Commission. Said patrol shall be composed originally of seven members, each of whom shall be a qualified voter within the city. The Commission may from time to time increase or decrease the number of the members of said patrol as circumstances may warrant, and may abolish said patrol at any time. Any member of said school traffic patrol may be suspended or discharged by the Commission for misconduct or neglect of duty, with or without a hearing.
