The City Attorney is the general law officer of the city. He attends all regular and special meetings of the City Commission and advises personally or by telephone the Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager and all other city officials regarding matters pertaining to their offices affecting the interests of the city. He attends Police and Firefighter's Pension Fund Trustee meetings; police and firefighter disciplinary hearings; and joint meetings with other boards, agencies, and industrial prospects.
