Upon receipt of an application by the Council Clerk, the Clerk will place the annexation request on the Council agenda for the next regularly scheduled meeting. Council shall refer the application to the Commission for evaluation and recommendation of the annexation request according to the purpose of this chapter. The Commission shall recommend to Council a zoning district for the proposed land to be annexed. This procedure will follow the Village Charter Section 9.06
