The Director of Law shall be appointed or removed by the Mayor subject to confirmation by the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the members elected or appointed to Council. Council may provide such assistants and special counsel to the Director of Law as may, from time to time, be deemed by Council to be necessary.
