SECTION 4.06 CLERK OF COUNCIL.
   The Clerk of Council shall be appointed by, and may be removed by, the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the members elected or appointed to Council. The Clerk of Council shall keep an accurate and complete journal of all proceedings of Council, authenticated by the Clerk’s signature and have custody of all laws, ordinances, and resolutions of Council, have custody of all official documents, reports, papers, communications, and files of Council, and perform such other duties as the Council shall require. During the absence or disability of the Clerk of Council, Council shall by the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of its members appoint someone to perform all the duties of that office. The Clerk of Council shall not be otherwise employed by this Municipality and shall hold no other public office, except as otherwise provided in this Charter or by ordinance enacted thereunder, and that of Notary Public or membership in the Ohio National Guard or Reserve Corps of the United States.
