(a) Recyclable Waste Materials. Residents are encourage to recycle newspapers, clear and colored glass, aluminum beverage cans and plastic jugs and bottles. Steel, iron and appliances are considered recyclable salvage material. A drop-off area is provided twenty-four hours at the Village Hall for recyclables.
(b) Yard Waste. Residents are encouraged to compost tree trimmings, grass clippings and leaves on their own premises. The Village will provide brush chipping on a year-around basis, and leaf collection during the fall season.
(c) The Mayor and Director of Public Service may develop rules and regulations for the implementation of a recycling program.
