For the construction of main trunk sewers and laterals installed at the time of the main sewer construction, the owner or developer shall deposit with the Director of Finance, before any construction starts, an amount of three percent of the construction cost of such main trunk sewer and laterals, to cover the cost of inspection of construction. Inspection by the Municipal Engineer or his agent will be billed at a per diem rate monthly and any moneys in excess of the billed amount shall be returned to the owner or developer when the performance bond is released. If the inspection fee exceeds the three percent deposit, the owner shall deposit additional moneys as required to cover inspection. (Ord. 86-1968. Passed 12-3-68.)
