1521.02 CAUSING FIRE IN PLACE OF ACCOMMODATION; POSTING OF NOTICE.
   (a)   No person shall, in any hotel, motel, rooming house, tenement house, convalescent home, apartment house, lodging house, hospital, child care facility or similar place of abode, by any means, through carelessness, neglect or negligence, set fire to or cause the burning of any bedding, furniture, rug, curtain, drape or other household furniture or fitting or any other part of the building or premises in such a manner as to endanger the safety of any person or property.
   (b)   It shall be the duty of the manager, owner or lessee of any hotel or motel to post the provisions of subsection (a) of this section in a conspicuous place in each room occupied by guests in the hotel or motel, and it shall be the duty of the manager, owner or lessee of any rooming house, lodging house, apartment house, tenement house, convalescent home, hospital, child care facility or similar place of abode, to post the provisions of subsection (a) of this section in conspicuous places upon such premises. Each day that the provisions of this section are not complied with shall constitute a separate offense.
