(a) The Building Division is hereby created and shall consist of a Building Official and such other deputies and assistants as may be provided by Council.
(b) The Building Official shall be charged with the enforcement of the Building Code of the City and shall possess the powers and duties contained therein. The Building Official shall also possess such powers as are granted to building officials by the Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code, or assigned by any portion of the Codified Ordinances.
