795.14 EXPIRATION OF PERMIT.
   (a)   Each permit shall expire one year from the date of issuance and may be renewed only by making application for issuance of a permit the same as provided in Section 795.11 (the filing of original survey shall be sufficient for renewal permits) of this chapter. Application for renewal permit shall be made at least 30 days before the expiration date of the current permit. The renewal permit is to be issued within 30 days of application for a renewal permit. If the application for renewal is made less than thirty 30 days of expiration of the current permit, a renewal permit is to be issued within 30 days of application date.
   (b)   When the Mayor denies renewal of the permit, the applicant shall not be issued a permit under this chapter for one year from the date of denial. If the city or its designee finds that the basis for denial of the renewal permit has been corrected, the applicant shall be granted a permit.
