(a) There is hereby established the part-time position of Assistant Clerk of Council to serve at the pleasure of Council.
(b) The Assistant Clerk of Council shall perform such duties as directed by Council and the Clerk of Council and act as the Clerk of Council in the absence of the Clerk of Council.
(c) The salary for such position shall be paid at an hourly rate calculated from the monthly salary for the Clerk of Council as provided by ordinance.
