1507.02 INSTALLATION REQUIRED; PLACEMENT; HARD-WIRED DETECTORS.

At least one carbon monoxide detector shall be installed in all new residential constructions, outside the sleeping area, in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. The carbon monoxide detector shall be hard-wired, with battery back-up, and shall meet the Underwriter's Laboratory standards, that is, U.L. 2034.
