1321.03 CLERK.
   (a)   Council provides that a Clerk shall be available to handle all administrative matters that may come to the attention of the Building Department. The Clerk shall insure that all requests are promptly handled including but not limited to insuring that all requests for building permits are promptly and expeditiously handled; that they are forwarded to the proper parties for inspection and approval further insuring that all requests for inspections are promptly forwarded to the qualified inspector of the City .
   (b)   The Clerk shall perform such other duties and responsibilities as in the opinion of Council and the Chief Building Official are necessary in order to promote an efficient Building Department and to insure that all inspections, requests for permits and other data are promptly and expeditiously handled through the qualified party within the Building Department.
