937.06 PUBLIC HEARING.
   After securing the required information and any other information it may deem necessary, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall set the matter for a public hearing. A notice of such hearing shall be mailed to the applicant and owner of the land at the address given in the application not less than thirty days prior to the public hearing, excluding the day of the mailing and including the day of the public hearing. The Planning and Zoning Commission shall also mail a notice of the public hearing to any landowner whose property is contiguous or adjacent to the land that is being proposed for use by the applicant. All information gathered by the Planning and Zoning Commission shall be made available to the public at reasonable times for inspection, reviewing, or copying. The individual requesting copies shall be required to pay the reasonable costs for such copies.
   (b)   The failure of a notice of a public hearing to be sent to a contiguous or adjacent land owner shall result in the immediate invalidation of any permits issued herein.
