Hard surface driveways of asphalt or concrete shall be constructed at the time of new construction of a single-family dwelling to a minimum width of ten feet at the street right-of-way line, enlarging to a minimum of sixteen feet at the point where the drive intersects with the roadway pavement. Such drive must be ten feet wide at the garage for one car garages and be the full width of the garage for more than one car. In the case of a taper from ten feet to the full width of the garage, the taper must start at a minimum of twenty-five feet from the garage and be complete at a minimum of twenty feet from the garage.
