If the ordinances, policies or standards of the city are changed subsequent to the approval or conditional approval of a vesting tentative map, the subdivider or his assignee, at any time prior to expiration of the vesting tentative map, may apply for an amendment to the vesting tentative map to secure vested rights to proceed with the changed ordinances, policies, or standards. The application shall be filed, in writing, with the community development department and shall clearly specify the changed ordinances, policies, standards for which the amendment is sought. The application shall be reviewed and processed in the same manner as a vesting tentative map application. (Ord. 2000-05, 4-25-2000)
