A. The city council shall hear the appeal at its next regular meeting following a period of ten (10) days, but not later than thirty (30) days, after the filing of the appeal. The city council may affirm, reverse or modify a decision of the planning commission on a conditional use permit provided that in the event of a revocation, or, if a decision denying a use permit is reversed or a decision granting a conditional use permit is modified, the city council shall, on the basis of the record transmitted and such additional evidence as may be submitted, make the findings prerequisite to the granting of a conditional use permit as prescribed in section 10-18-7 of this chapter, when applicable.
B. A decision on a conditional use permit which has been the subject of an appeal to the city council shall become final immediately on the date on which the decision is made by the city council. (Ord. 98-04, 4-14-1998)
